Our Story

We are so happy that you want to learn more about us! Tots & Moore began as Temps For Tots in May of 1993. Temps For Tots was founded by mother Sadie Moore and daughter Charmaine Moore, respectively. Sadie founded one of the earliest child care centers in the Pittsburgh area. Charmaine’s very first job was at a child care center during the summer of her freshman year of high school. We initially referred substitute educators for area child care centers and families seeking temporary child care.

As time went on we provided special event child care as well as hosting children’s parties. To continue supporting our families and their changing needs, we expanded our care to include nanny services for children of all ages. Temps For Tots has evolved to Tots & Moore to better represent all areas of child care support in the community.
